Welcome to St. Croix U.S.V.I. - 23 Sep - 01 Oct 2007
(Остров Святого Креста, Американские Виргинские острова
23-го Сентября - 1-го Октября, 2007)
In preparation for the CQWW RTTY Contest, we have arrived in KP2. We are staying at Radio Reef, on top of a hill overlooking the Caribbean toward the north.
3 operators are working:
Palmer, WP2/K4FO
Andrei, KP2/NP3D
Dima, NP2/AK2P
We are using a shack with 2 operating positions:
Position 1 - Yaesu FT-1000MP with Alpha 89 amplifier
Position 2 - Yaesu FT-920, also with an Alpha 89
Antennas are on two towers, with one beam for 17m - 10m, and another with a Force 12 magnum that has 6 elements on 20m and 3 elements on 40m.
So far, operating conditions have been excellent - Andrei and Dima have been working pileups on SSB and RTTY since we have arrived, and I intervene to run CW, usually in the evenings.
Pictures will be posted on this site as they become available.
QSL Information:
WP2/K4FO: 100% LoTW, paper qsl direct to K4FO (address on qrz.com)
KP2/NP3D: 100% LoTW
NP2/AK2P: ??
See you on the air!
